Kick Ass Wife and I have four children — Slim (9), Perpetual Motion (7), The Hellcat (5), and Tax Credit #4 (4). They’re a lot of fun in a “Holy sh*t! What were we thinking?” kind of way. Sometimes they even make cool noises.
If you’d like to contact me, email me at mcfadden(dot)chase(at)gmail(dot)com. Or send a carrier pigeon.
Thanks for checking out SSETY.
Best to you and yours,

Absolutely. Glad you enjoy it, and thanks for stopping by.
I love this picture of your family! It’s so adorable
Thanks. They’re a terrific crew.

I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. You can see it at http://dyingbraincells.wordpress.com/
Worked my way through the first few posts tonight. When my stomach stops aching and I can see again, I’ll try and finish. In related news, I’m now terrified of children.
Great stuff, Chase!
PS: Stop being so good at sports.
Thanks. Alerting people to the terrifying aspects of children is really the only purpose of this blog.
PS: Stop being so left-handed.
Hey there, I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Your blog is very entertaining and I enjoy it very much. Check it out:

I absolutely love the photo of your son in his carseat (I think) dressed up as Spiderman from head to toe. This was my son from the time he was 2 – 4. I let him wear his full costume everywhere we went, which he now resents me for.
I figured I’d choose my battles. Plus, it is so darn cute to see your children dressed up as their favorite action hero!
I enjoy your blog – looking forward to following
Really enjoy reading your blog. Love the nicknames. My son is a year old and we call him Vellu, short for Velociraptor (for the sounds that he makes & his speed).
Thanks! And love that nickname.
Dig the nicknames. Tax credit #4 is righteous. My wife gave me all kinds of static for calling our son Frank – “Frankie Tomatoes” – you know, his mob name.
Great stuff.
You can’t go wrong with mob names for children. Thanks for stopping by.
I just nominated you for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

Have a fabulous day!!
Joy aka
Evil Joy
Yesterday, after a particularly frustrating day, (being dismissed by my 22-year old, pestered for car insurance by the 19-year old, and sassed by the as-of-today 12-year old,) I sighed to my husband over dinner, and said, “You know, life would be a lot simpler if we just ate our young at birth.”* Only daughter asks, “which species eat their young”? And I say: “You know, I’m not sure I could give you an exhaustive list. Let’s google it.”
And there you were. I laughed so hard I snorted. Especially upon noticing the subheading.
Do they? (taste like chicken)
*Husband suggested I put that as my facebook status, but I was pretty sure that we would be the only two people who actually thought it was funny.
Love the blog. Glad to have found it.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
And, yes, they do taste like chicken. Really undercooked chicken.
very nice blog! go on!! see you soon!!
One simply cannot walk away from this blog after reading your children’s nicknames:) LOVE IT!
